We advance understanding of autism by bringing research into dialogue with care, education, and everyday life. We create a place to examine evidence, share emerging findings, and ask what they mean for the people they concern.
Research with context
Scientific progress depends on careful methods and open discussion. Our program connects developmental biology, imaging, neural circuits, and clinical research so participants can examine findings across disciplines and consider their implications for future care.
Knowledge that reaches further
Research is more useful when people can engage with it. Scientific sessions, poster conversations, and an English and Chinese resource platform create different ways for professionals, scholars, and families to learn and exchange perspectives.

Autistic people and families bring questions and experience that belong alongside scientific and clinical expertise. We welcome those perspectives while keeping evidence, respect, and clarity at the center of the conversation.
Scientific leadership
The 2027 symposium is moderated by physician-scientist Xue-Jun (June) Kong, MD, whose work connects neuroscience, precision medicine, and strength-based education.
