About these terms
These terms apply when you register for the March 30, 2027 Autism & Neurodiversity Scientific Symposium on advancingautism.com. The symposium is organized by Advancing Autism ("we", "us"). By completing registration and payment, you agree to these terms, the Code of Conduct, and our Privacy notice. If you register on behalf of someone else, you confirm that you have their permission and will share these terms with them.
What your ticket includes
Each ticket admits one named attendee to the March 30, 2027 symposium program (8:30 AM–5:00 PM, Boston local time) at the Joseph B. Martin Conference Center, Harvard Medical School campus. A ticket does not include the March 22–26 professional training, the March 27 roundtable, the March 29 expert exchange or dinner, the March 31 program, travel, lodging, or abstract submission fees. Regular in-person admission does not include CME credit.
Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars. Early-bird prices apply through the end of December 30, 2026, Boston time: regular in person $125, CME participation in person $200. Afterwards: regular in person $200, CME participation in person $275. The CME/CE add-on is +$75 and is included in the CME ticket totals above. The price is set when your checkout starts. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we never receive or store your card or bank details. Your registration is confirmed only when payment succeeds, and Stripe emails your receipt. Bank payments are confirmed when they clear, which can take several business days. We do not adjust prices for earlier or later purchases.
Cancellations and refunds
To cancel, email Advancingglobal@gmail.com with the attendee's name and the email used at checkout. Refunds depend on when we receive your request (Boston time): by February 28, 2027, a full refund less a $10 administrative fee; from then through March 16, 2027, a 50% refund; after March 16, 2027, or if you do not attend, no refund, although you may transfer your ticket (see below). Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, usually within 10 business days. If you bought a BGMC training package that already includes March 30 admission and also bought a ticket here, contact us by March 16, 2027 for a full refund of the duplicate ticket with no fee.
Transferring your ticket
You may transfer your ticket to another person at no charge until March 26, 2027 by emailing Advancingglobal@gmail.com with the new attendee's name, email, and organization. The ticket type does not change. Tickets may not be resold for more than their price.
Changes, postponement, or cancellation by us
Speakers, session times, and program details may change; these changes do not entitle you to a refund. If we cancel the symposium, we will refund the full ticket price. If we postpone it or move it online, you may keep your registration for the new arrangement or request a full refund within 30 days of our announcement. We are not responsible for travel, lodging, or other costs you incur, and we are not liable for delays or cancellation caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, public-health orders, venue closure, or government action.
CME
CME participation in person is for attendees seeking continuing medical education credit and includes the same in-person access as regular admission. Accreditation, eligibility requirements, and the number of credits will be published once confirmed. CME credit is awarded only to eligible attendees who meet the attendance and evaluation requirements. If CME credit cannot be offered for the symposium, CME ticket holders may request a refund of the difference between the CME and regular in-person price. Regular in-person admission does not include CME credit.
At the event
Please bring photo identification matching your registration name; we may ask for it at check-in. All attendees must follow our Code of Conduct and the venue’s rules. We may refuse admission to, or remove, anyone who breaches them, without a refund. You are responsible for your personal belongings.
Photography and recording
The symposium may be photographed and recorded for documentation, education, and promotion of Advancing Autism programs. By attending, you agree that you may appear in these materials. If you prefer not to be featured, tell staff at check-in and we will make reasonable efforts to respect your choice. Attendees may not record sessions (audio or video) without permission from the organizers and the speaker.
Accessibility and support needs
We want everyone to be able to take part. Please tell us about access, sensory, language, or other support needs at least 14 days before the event so we can work with the venue to arrange them. Later requests will be accommodated where possible.
Educational content
Presentations are for scientific and professional education. They are not individual medical advice. Views expressed by speakers are their own and do not necessarily reflect those of Advancing Autism, the venue, or any sponsor.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with your registration is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States.
Questions and changes to these terms
Contact Advancingglobal@gmail.com with any question about your registration. We may update these terms; the version in effect when you complete your purchase applies to your registration. If the English and Chinese versions differ, the English version controls.
