Biography
Dr. Kalish is Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and a physician-scientist in Newborn Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital. His laboratory studies how pregnancy and early-life experiences shape brain development and plasticity. Its work brings together molecular neuroscience, genomics, spatial biology, and neuroimmunology to explore maternal inflammation, nutrition, stress, and placental signaling, alongside neonatal brain injury and neuroprotection.
