Biography
Dr. Kong is a physician-scientist whose work spans internal medicine, autism, neuroscience, precision medicine, and strength-based education. She directs the Synapse Lab at Boston Children’s Hospital and the Synapse Program at Massachusetts General Hospital, and holds clinical and research roles at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. As a physician-scientist and the mother of an autistic son, she connects clinical practice, research, education, and lived experience. Her research integrates genetics, microbiome science, immunology, neuroimaging, and artificial intelligence.
