What to include

1. Title; presenting author; co-authors and institutional affiliations.
2. Background or objective: the question your work addresses.
3. Methods: the design, approach, and measures used.
4. Results: the findings, including preliminary findings where appropriate.
5. Conclusion or significance: what the work contributes.
6. Funding, where applicable, and conflict-of-interest disclosures.

Length and scientific review

Keep the structured abstract within 300 words. Reviewers consider scientific quality, relevance to autism and neurodiversity, originality, rigor, clarity, and potential impact. Preliminary studies should clearly describe their stage and available findings.

Fees and presenting

The $50 fee applies to each abstract and is separate from symposium registration. Payment does not guarantee acceptance. Accepted presenting authors must register separately, bring a printed poster, and discuss their work during the poster session.
